What You Are Looking At

These are working photographs, not a campaign. A feeding round at first light, a registration desk at a village camp, a classroom mid-lesson, a bhandara being served. Nobody was posed and nothing was staged for the camera.

You will notice what is missing. There are no close-ups of distressed children, no before-and-after portraits, and no captions describing a family’s poverty to strangers. We do not publish children’s names or circumstances, and nothing here appears without the consent of the people in it.

That is a deliberate cost. Photographs of visible suffering raise more money than photographs of ordinary work. We think that is a price the foundation should pay rather than the people it serves.

What Each Album Shows

Education

Classrooms, evening study, the seva rota and campus life at the Gurukul — the ordinary rhythm of a residential school day.

The Gurukul

Religion & Culture

Kirtan sandhyas, Bhagwat Katha, festival observance at the Gurukul temple and at our Vrindavan centre, and bhandaras being served.

Spiritual work

Cow Seva

Feeding rounds, veterinary visits, students on their gaushala turn, and animals who arrived in poor condition some months after arriving.

The Gaushala

Events & Seva

Medical and eye camps, distribution drives, volunteer days and life at the old age home — the work that travels.

Health camps

If you photograph or film well and would like to volunteer that skill, we would be glad of it — see volunteering. Better still, come and see the work in person; visits to the Gurukul and gaushala are welcome by prior arrangement.
