The clips above are recorded during ordinary working days — a kirtan evening, a katha recitation, a morning at the gaushala, a village health camp. There is no script, no voiceover and no re-shooting for a better angle.
As with our photographs, we do not film children in a way that identifies them, and we do not record anyone’s hardship for an audience. What you see is the work, which is mostly repetitive and occasionally beautiful, and which looks the same whether or not a camera is present.
What You Are Watching
Kirtan & Bhajan Seva
Devotional evenings at our centres and neighbourhood temples. Open to everyone, no invitation needed. For many elders it is the one guaranteed evening of company in the week.
Bhagwat Katha
Multi-day recitations arranged in full — vidwan, venue and meals throughout — so families who could never fund such an event themselves can attend.
Cow Seva at the Gaushala
Feeding, grooming and shed cleaning, filmed at the hour it actually happens. Gurukul students take their turn on the same rota as the staff.
Health Camp
Registration, screening, consultation and dispensing at a village camp. Most of what you see is logistics; the medicine is the quick part.
