Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet profound: to uplift and transform lives through compassion, innovation, and collaboration. Guided by our core values of empathy, integrity, and social responsibility, we work tirelessly to create meaningful change and sustainable solutions to the challenges facing society.
Our Causes
At Hritan Foundation, we focus on several key areas, including healthcare, education, animal welfare, religion, and support for seniors. From providing essential medical care to underprivileged communities, to supporting educational initiatives for children, to promoting cultural enrichment through religious programs, we are committed to addressing a wide range of needs and creating lasting impact.
Our Gurukul Campus
Much of our work is rooted in a single place: the Hritan Foundation Gurukul. It is a residential learning campus that brings our causes together under one roof — a gaushala where students care for cows, an Ayurveda centre where traditional medicine is both practised and researched, a temple that anchors the daily rhythm of campus life, and daily yoga for students and visitors alike. Education, health, service and spirituality are not separate programmes here; they are parts of one way of living.

Why These Six, and Not Others
The list looks eclectic until you see a household. The family that cannot send a child to school is the family whose elder is skipping treatment and whose cow has been let loose because there is no money for fodder. These are not six causes. They are one situation viewed from six angles.
Organisations that specialise handle one strand very well and hand the rest on. In practice the handing-on is where people are lost — referred to an office that is forty kilometres away, on a day they cannot afford to miss work.
So we kept the programmes on one campus and under one set of accounts. A child in the Gurukul is treated at our Ayurveda centre. The gaushala fertilises the medicinal garden that supplies it. Elders in the old age home attend the same temple as the students. It is less efficient on paper and considerably more effective in a village.
